I would fully recommend the boat-in camping on the east shore of Point Reyes to anyone who has the expierence, knowledge, and skill to cross Tomales Bay.

Amazing Scenery. We did coast trail to sky trail to Sky camp and then down to bear creek trail and back to coast trail and out and had an amazing time! Highly recommend.

Very important to know when the low tide is so that you can plan your walk down to Alamere Falls accordingly.
The weather is often less severe at this location than the surrounding forecast, which is helpful to know if you are heading into a rainy/windy forecast.

Pt. Reyes is such an easy backpacking spot with pit toilets, established campsites and clearly defined trails. Alamere Falls is gushing at this time of year (April), and on the way there we could observe a herd of tule elk, magical!
