I had a reserved site, showed up and someone was still in the site. I asked them if they were leaving and was told that the Rangers opened the site for them and that they were staying. I connected the Camp Host who did not know anything, they connected the Ranger. Long story short, it seems that this person in the site does favors for the campground/events, and was being bumped around to sites. Doesn't seem like a good way of doing things, because at some point someone is not going to be happy about dealing with a situation like this.

Great place! Definitely no store on site and the nearest place to purchase groceries is 20-30 minutes away so make sure you have everything you need. The lake trail was beautiful and 8 miles roundtrip so a good one! The restrooms were clean, no frills. The camp host was terrific, super friendly.

Nice Campground.
Having a reservation, I have experienced people have not checked out of site or are being bumped around to different sites making check in difficult.
