Many issues at this campground. Bathrooms are often out of order (no hot water, showers offline, stalls closed down, no TP, etc). The camp host has a noisy dog that barks constantly. The campground is very popular with local homeless and is frequently populated with unhoused people. Generally an unsafe vibe now.

It is noisy at this campground and rangers won’t do anything about aggressive dogs brought by the unhoused. Lots of creepy people in old rundown vans camping the full two weeks.

The campground is also a mess. Lots of trash on the trails and in camp.

Avoid this campground if you have an alternative.

Rude ranger that complained about our cars not on the pavement and we had 2 tires on the payment, she said they need to be moved. When we spoke to a different ranger he said we are parked correctly. She complained about our electric bikes and said we could not ride them. When we walked to the other side of the camping area. Same bikes had been used from different campers. When we told her the next day she said she did not see them. But she was flirting with a guy in a truck and was not paying attention or she was discriminating against us.

We have camped here for years. This was the worst experience we have ever had. We were told that we had to have 2 tires on the payment. We had 2 tires and said next time it would be a warning.. then same ranger complained we could not ride our electric bikes. When others had the same bikes and was not told anything. And we know this because she was flirting with a guy in the truck right across as the kids rode the bikes. We got woken up 3 mornings in a row at 8 am. Could not even enjoy our weekend. We felt harassed the entire time we were camping. Same ranger every morning.

It is still hot in August, but nice and quiet due to the heat. Visit with shade cloths and an ac unit!

All bathrooms were under maintenance:(
Very disappointed as there were no arrangements to take shower !

It was hard to find the campground, but the area was beautiful. Fabulous, quiet place. Would definitely go back.

Exceeded our expectations in terms of location, site spacing, and even cell coverage with Verizon.
Unfortunately, water hookups were not available in any of the sites while we were there, but we were able to access water in the day use area a short drive away from our site. We had electric--which is a plus in a park like this! Park rangers/camp host were FANTASTIC, very friendly and available! We would definitely return!

There’s no water (or electric) in the entire campground. We had a non-electric site, so we were prepared to not have electric, but we were never informed that the water had been shut off for weeks. A heads up for planning purposes would have been appreciated. Beautiful campground and very well kept. Park ranger was extremely friendly and apologetic about the water situation. We will be back… with water in tow next time!

Paid for electric, water and sewer hookup but got none of those services since power was out. It had already been out for months. I had same situation a few months ago and assumed it would be fixed by now. Without power their water and sewer system are not usable. Left after one night. Had planned to be at Cordoniz again in a few weeks but I will not be coming back until this is fixed. Stop advertising full hookups until this is fixed.
