Site 9 doesn't have shade except the table. So when it's hot, it's really hot! Also beware of racoons! They were around at night

Camp hosts were awesome! We arrived with a big bus and the host (and park ranger) quickly advised us we would not be able to negotiate the road to our camp site and quickly worked to find another one for us (for our entire two week stay) that was very easy to negotiate. They also highlighted to us when bald eagles were near the lake so we could go see them. A great experience!

A beautiful , quiet place to hang for a few days. We didn't use the restroom or shower facilities but the staff keep the grounds spotless so imagine the bathrooms are the same.

We had a very good camping experience and had the whole area to ourselves. However, because of no nearby campers, the ground squirrels and their babies were out in full force. There were about 3 or 4 squirrel families in groups of 8 to 10 each. Tho, the squirrels are cute, we saw a few persistently trying to enter our campsite and they would run under the camper. We ran them off. Thirty minutes of driving, after checking out, the engine light came on. The Ford mechanic found new chew marks on the knock tube under the manifold. It will cost us $2k to repair the damage. One recommendation we got is to leave our hood up during the day.

Water is still low but that didn't stop the fish from biting. Hosts were very professional and friendly.
