We had everything we needed; electricity, showers, lake. The campground was maintained well. It was quiet which we were grateful for. The lake was warm which was nice. All in all we give it a thumbs up. Bring everything you need because there aren’t any stores nearby. We saw a lot of stunning Eagles and Hawks. We took a long bumpy road to the store . We had to go real slow but were delighted with the wildlife we saw.

I had a wonderful time camping at Cordoniz. The entire campground is clean and quiet. My site was large and had two huge oak trees to offer shade. I will definitely be booking return visits!

The camp hosts were so helpful. We have a BIG rig and they knew upon arrival we would not fit in our spot. They helped us find an appropriate space. We had a great time there. It was sad to see the lake so low, but we enjoyed our time there nonetheless.

J and his wife are always so very welcoming and helpful. It is wonderful that they remember us when we are there and speak as friends not just random campers.

I love this campsite! I have been here three times consecutive. Although I was very disappointed along with many others due to the VERY POOR restroom services since my last stay in MAY and it’s still an ongoing issue. Restrooms by the amphitheater were completely out of service and portable toilets were placed and not serviced on a busy weekend. It is also something that should be posted on the website to avoid inconveniences. I hope they get a new contract soon.

Great place to hang out with the family. friendly people. The area I got was great only issues was it was hard to set up my tent. There was no flat area but we made it work! Definitely we will be back soon.

Getting There
Eastman Lake is 30 mi northeast of Madera, 25 mi east of Chowchilla,
and 50 mi north of Fresno. From Highway 99, travel east on Avenue
26 then north on Rd 29. Follow signs into the campground.
Highway access
The campground is accessible via Highway 99, which is approximately 30 miles to the west. From Highway 99, travelers can proceed east on Avenue 26.

- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
