Clean and well-kept with friendly and helpful staff. I'm sure it's lovely in Spring. I was there in July, and it was miserable. 110 degrees, the lake water smelled gross, and the tap water came out warm. Even with electric hookups powering the AC, it was close to 100 inside my trailer. It was so hot my freezer didn't work. Closest gas is pretty far away, so make sure you're prepared.

Not a very good experience. Lake was only about 30% full it was fine if you own a boat or or Sea-Doo/ Jet Ski which we don't so we weren't able to go swimming which was a bummer. We will not go again around this time frame.

My husband and I stayed here and it was wonderful. We had the best view of Hensley lake. We were right in front of the lake. The only things was the bugs so if you come bring your bug spray but their not that bad. It has a fire pit and a grill to cook. You also can group camp at this campground.
The roads to the campground is really good and easy to drive to. There is a little bumps going to but not bad. This campground was very peaceful on a weekday and the weekend. You can relax and have fun with lots of nice people.

I have been going to the place for 12 years and like it. It is very unfortunate the the bathrooms have been let go and are in poor condition.
Toilet seats are not even attached. Also campers treat the C.G. very poorly. Do not pick-up after themselves.
