Need to update there photos of lake, did not know the lake only had 7% water. Our camp spot was not up to expectations we saw online

I always enjoy Hensley lake. Only one wish, bathrooms need to be updated. restrooms were clean and had plenty of t .paper but showers had dirt stains on tile and rust running down the wall. Thank you and see you next trip.

Female restroom was locked. The male restroom was unlocked.
Windy and hot. For the rv types. You will prob enjoy this.
For the true campers I would pass this one up. Better off hiking in above 7500 elevation, or if you can get near the coast.
Sequoia is right down the road from Fresno.

Bring really hearty stakes for your tent, as the ground is extremely hard. Luckily, there were heavy rocks to help with our tent. Heavy winds at time.

The lake was very beautiful and we were able to swim in it all day. Hensley lake has life jackets that you can use while there. The bathrooms were clean and the shower had both hot/cold water.

Take a right onto 400 and go 7.1 mi to Road 603. Turn left and go 1 mi to Road 407. Take a right on 407 and drive 1.7 mi to the campground.
From south of Madera: Take SR 99 north to exit 153B. Bear right onto Madera Ave. and go .3 mi to Gateway. Turn left and drive .2 mi to the traffic light at Yosemite Ave. (SR 145). Turn right and go 7.2 mi to Road 33. Turn left on Road 33, and go 1 mi to Road 400. Take a right onto 400 and go 7.1 mi to Road 603. Turn left and go 1 mi to Road 407. Take a right on 407 and drive 1.7 mi to the campground.
