Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. The trails and environment at Sycamore Grove are excellent. So many birds! Unfortunately the campground has seen better days. We reserved site 12 in mid-April 2021. Across from us was an overflowing dumpster and porta toilets with dirty diapers all around them. Noisy groups and generators running all night added to the lack of care of the campground, and to the lack of respect for rules and others. All in all, Sycamore Grove is worth a day trip, but due to neglect of the campground (even though there is a host), I would not recommend overnight visits.

Everything you could want! Lovely sites, close to but quiet. I've stayed two years straight and will be back!
