Once was a nice park with the prior camp hosts. Unfortunately the park has become a homeless shelter and I will never return

I, a middle-aged woman, camped alone at Sycamore Grove, and I felt safe. The camp host was very nice and told me about hiking trails near the park, and answered my many questions. If I ever camp in the area again, I will likely stay here.

The restrooms were very basic and soap was missing and only refilled for the second night of my stay. One could hear the near interstate more than I expected, but apart from that everything was fine and working properly.

Restrooms were clean, water for showers was hot and available, trails were in good shape, host was helpful, and cell coverage was good. Our only complaint was that the pit toilet was quite stinky and you could smell it at some distance. However, there was a regular flush toilet available.

I enjoyed the stay here for 4 days. I didn't get the camp host's name, but she was great. She answered all of my questions with a great attitude, and always seemed to be busy and visible. Will stay again for sure if I'm in the area.
