Sycamore Grove Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained setting with green grass, spacious sites, and clean bathrooms, including coin-operated showers. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. However, some concerns were raised about noisy campers, the condition of pit toilets, and occasional issues with camp host interactions. Overall, it's considered a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature, especially for short stays.

Everything worked out great except for the (presumed) camp host who decided to shine his flashlight directly into our campsite for several minutes after our arrival. We arrived late in the evening without a reservation, took some time to set up camp and then used the online app to pay for the site. Not sure what his beef was, but it was rude.

When traveling I find it more cost effective to sleep in my vehicle rather than get a hotel room every night. It can sometimes be difficult to find a safe and legal place to do this. Campgrounds are a great middle ground. Cheaper than a hotel, still bathroom and sometimes shower facilities. Safer than public parking and no risk of violating overnight parking. Found this particular campground not far from the interstate but tucked back in pretty far away from the main road. Definitely quiet, with my only complaint being that where my campsite was I was close to a street lamp but again that's just because I selected a campsite online before looking at it in person. Recommenced this campground for anyone looking to safely and quietly get some shut eye without breaking the bank.

This is a great park! far enough from road to be nice and quiet but close enough to be convenient. There is a boat launch, access to the river, walking trails-- a lot of beautiful trees.

This is a very quaint, quiet campground filled with green grass and green trees. We visited in late November and it was beautiful.

It would be greatly improved if there was a dump station

Nice quiet campground with clean flush bathrooms that even have a code to enter. The campground is basically a paved loop with offshoots for parking your car or camper on pavement next to the central tree-lined, grassy area.

Quiet, clean, and very relaxing. It's hard to believe this campground is so close to the city. It's so peaceful. The camphost was very nice, stopping by to introduce herself and see if I had any questions.
