A great place to camp. Beautiful area, nice sites. Host is friendly and helpful. Only down side is no Dump.

I stayed at site #20. Apart from the parking area—which gets very hot from the afternoon through to dusk—the site is well-shaded by trees, so I was very satisfied overall. The shower and restroom facilities were very clean. The area is surrounded by lawns, making it ideal for family camping, and the campsite manager was very friendly.

Very excellent camping spots. Showers are available for a small fee and you are close enough to town to get cell service with most carriers. Lots of locations to get potable water as well.

Grounds unkempt. Walkway covered with tree debris. Uneven ground walking to bathrooms. Cat loose as I slept under stars with fur baby attached to my wrist, kept waking me up with growls. If you go take rake, broom, something for table.

Getting There
From Interstate 5 at Red Bluff, take Antelope Boulevard east for about a quarter-mile. Turn right (south) on Sale Lane continue for approximately 3 mi to the Red Bluff Recreation Area entrance gate. Continue on that road until you get to the Sacra...
From Interstate 5 at Red Bluff, take Antelope Boulevard east for about a quarter-mile. Turn right (south) on Sale Lane continue for approximately 3 mi to the Red Bluff Recreation Area entrance gate. Continue on that road until you get to the Sacramento River Discovery Center than turn left. The campground entrance is aproximately 600 ft. down on the right.
Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- The campground features an electronic gate with set closing and opening times.
- For reservations or changes, call the provided phone number.
- Late check-outs are not allowed; guests must leave by the specified time.
Safety & rules
- Stay is limited to 14 consecutive days, followed by a 16-day absence before returning; a maximum of 28 days is allowed in a year.
- There is no designated swimming area; swimming is at your own risk.
Pets
- Dog owners must clean up after their pets using provided bags, or face a fine.
- A maximum of 2 dogs per campsite, and they must be leashed.
Amenities
- Showers require quarters for operation; no change is provided on-site.
Utilities
- There is no dump station available at the campground.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
