Sycamore Grove Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained setting with green grass, spacious sites, and clean bathrooms, including coin-operated showers. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. However, some concerns were raised about noisy campers, the condition of pit toilets, and occasional issues with camp host interactions. Overall, it's considered a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature, especially for short stays.

We were in and out so there wasn’t really time to check the place out. Creeped out by the laundry thrown all over our camp and the road prior to leaving at 6:30 am. Shady characters wandering in the middle of the night in November.

We arrived early at our reserved site, and were not hopeful that the current occupants would ever be able to leave in time due to all the “stuff” around their trailer. The campground host did his job, and convinced them they needed to leave. We camped that night at a nearby RV park☹️

No issues staying at this campground. We arrived after 10pm and the provided code unlocked the gate for us. We found our reserved RV spot easily and plugged into power without any trouble. It is true that the bathrooms were closed and the dumpsters full, however, we were self-sufficient in our RV and were OK. Nice views of the river and pleasant walking in the area.

Sites are nicely spaced apart and in a park like setting with green grass and paved trailer pads. Lots of mature trees for shade but still areas where the sun can shine down. Once in awhile we heard a loud horn, from a boat or train.

There was only a couple of sites with electrical so reservations would be advisable. Trails were well marked and the sites were clean. Not really much seclusion from other campers, but the sites aren't too jammed up.

We loved the park, I think on the website and maybe even the brochure it offers the fairgrounds as a place to dump for a 5.00 fee. I guess things had changed and we were told that it had not been 5 in several years. It is now 20 to dump for anyone planning on using that feature. Cozy place to camp in a quite off the main beat of the traffic noise.
