What Guests Are Saying
The campground was closed, requiring a lengthy trip for assistance, and the provided contact number was out of service. Guests found the sites unclean, with trash and debris present, and the bathrooms appeared neglected. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations given the cost.

Campground was not opened, had to travel miles up the road to Mule Creek for service to call but the number provided was no longer in service. Had to call Rec.gov, and was informed that the only gate code had expired the year prior - luckily it worked as there is not enough service at the gate for a phone call. Sites had not been cleaned since the last party - there were boxes/trash in the fire pits, stray beer cans, and cigarette butts. Bathrooms did not appear to have been cleaned. For the amount charged it was not worth the stay.

We have been going there for years and this year the place was super dirty, trash was everywhere. Bathrooms were brought in for use because they had no water, but they didn’t bring in hand washing stations which was unacceptable.

We love this camp ground especially when the lake is full. We have been going there for 10 years now. It is clean, has a fabulous middle group eating and hanging out area, the lake view is gorgeous, along with the hiking trail that leaves from camp.
