What Guests Are Saying
Englebright Lake Boat-in Campground offers beautiful scenery with clean campsites and a stunning lake, making it a popular annual destination for many visitors. While some campers faced issues with uneven ground, ants, and noise from other guests, the overall experience remains positive due to the picturesque environment and well-maintained bathrooms. However, concerns have been raised about inconsiderate behavior from other campers and the challenges of the reservation system, suggesting room for improvement in site management and regulation.

We go every year for my boyfriend‘s birthday and the reservation thing was pretty good because we knew where we’re gonna get the campsite we wanted. The water was beautiful as always.

We had a great time! Lake was beautiful, the campsite was clean and big enough for all of us. We will be coming back here for sure.

First off, very great spot we got. But the floor was so un even, there were a lot of ants, we were in a ant hill. Our tend was rolling down. People didn’t have their dog on a leach in the campground. We had an incident we’re dogs were afraid of others and attacked my son in our camp. People had their boats close to the walk way not letting other people unload their camp items. Made it hard for us to get anything out.

My boat broke down before we could even get our supplies to our camp site so I didn’t get to go camping I was told by the ranger that took us out in his boat to retrieve our supplies that I would get a refund and never did

Very very clean and breathtakingly beautiful but inconsiderate boaters seem to be progressively on the rise. No cell service keeps the experience relatively quiet, private and remote.

This is a boat in only campground. The entire summer has been the worst! The people that have pulled into the campsites have been disrespectful and loud at ALL hours of the night! The patrol goes home at 10:pm which does not make for a good experience. Since where we park has no cell service, I have felt less than safe. Prior to the reservation system, people would setup camp and if the loud party group saw them, they would move on. Now, the party group has to move in and take over their party because that is their reservation. The campgrounds are too close together to make this reservation only. It is so terrible!!! Please change it back!

Reserving ahead was difficult, not knowing how far apart sites were or what the tent area looked like or if it would fit our tent. Sites were very unkept, overgrown and full of spiders and bees. We used the tables closer to the beach and the grassy area in front of the sites.
