Tuttletown Recreation Area

This was a gorgeous and inexpensive little campground. The sunrise was awesome, and being able to see the stars clearly at night was lovely as well. It was two hours away from the entrance of Yosemite National Park, and offered the perfect resting point on the way in to the park.

Lake is beautiful, camp host was helpful, but camp sites are crowded and super noisy at night even after 1am! No quiet time

The walking is literally like walking from you garage to the front door super convenient. Site 128 gave you privacy because it went downhill and you also got a great view compare to the other sites. The sites are kinda close together tbh. The park ranger was great and gave us directions to the Lake and a parking pass. Either than that it was a great experience. Be Prepare for the heat.

While the view was great, the site management was not. When I arrived the "host site" was actually campers who had moved to the host site because their spot was next to loud/rowdy people. So there was a red flag already. Near my site, we had a full on party happening at 9pm-1am one night with multiple outside trucks coming in to join. A site next to me had an entire family enter and setup their site loudly at 5am the following morning waking everyone up. So less than 3hrs of sleep.

We were here for 5 Days, Facilities were clean except for the Water which colored brown looks unsafe to use.. very nice place at night for sky gazing. overall was a nice Campsite!

had a good time

Great location, close to the water, close to the bathroom, great view, has shade through out the day. No shade during the morning, but It helps to wake up. Great for dogs and privacy.

Pathetic

Paying full price to camp with our motorhome and there where no dump stations or water area to fill our fresh watwr tanks. The dump station and water station where torn up and broken down as well as blocked off. When i asked a ranger about it i was told the stations have been xloaed for over a year now and that i needed to drive into angela camp ro dump my tanks and fill my feesh water tank. At a gas expense and dump fee i had to pay besides the inconvenience of having to drive into town. The bathroom in lower manzanita was closed half of the days i was there due to no water. I left 3 days early on my prepaid reservarion because i was frusgrayed and disgusted at the campground and employees. The site to book reservations should lwt thw public no what amenities are down, what this are closed and wheather or not dumping stations wtc are closed before they book a campsite. I wasted alot of money to get the expeeience.of parking in a landfill dumo or on the side of some road with nothing. The experience sucked and so does the campground.

We stayed in chamise sites 131, 133, and 134. Pretty rough walk to get to the water but overall it was a good experience
