Great camping spot for our large group of Girl Scouts and their families. We enjoyed walking down to the lake. There were lots of deer around as well. The bathrooms were very basic but fine. We appreciated the car charging stations!

I loved the beautiful view. The deer had no fear and would roam thru the campsite. Bathroom and the 2 showers well maintained. Great hiking trails. I'll go back again.

Last minute reservation and our spot did not disappoint. Lived seeing the wildlife, kids were upset that they didn't get any bites but they were fishing from the shore :)

The camping space was a little steep and the water wasn’t working at the toilet facilities during the visit but the campground is pretty.

I stayed here mainly as a launch pad for Angels Camp and Sonora so it’s a great location in that regard. Since I am not into boating or other water activities I was not able to utilize the lake. The site is clean and the campsites are well situated with easy access.

The area was nice but the raccoons will literally eat everything and anything you leave out which isn’t the parks fault that’s wildlife. The water in the specific cove we stayed at wasn’t very clean and very muddy and murky. All in all it was a good stay, wish the water was cleaner.
