Beautiful view in this campsite, not much trees though and not a lot of shade, restroom is a walk up a hill and you’d have to drive to the boat launch to go to a nice spot to swim.

There is alot of space there. Rv & Trailers need to park on parkway. Bring your own water. There were many deer there. Some of the spots are a little hilly but was nice.

We had a great time. We ended up staying g at the campsite the whole trip. We stayed in the Acorn lot and it was very nice. Vault toilets were close by but the flush toilets weren't that far that we couldn't walk to it. They also have showers which was nice. Over all it was a good trip. It was spread out just enough that you weren't in other peoples business but could have done every other site to keep social distance. Over all we would definitely come back.

The Good: Watching nature come up to the edge of the water to take a drink. So many deers, coyotes, herons, and more. It was really beautiful.
I'm sure there are lovely campsites here, but let me tell you what...DO NOT select campsites 108-115 (maybe its just 109-114)
That mess what miserable. Look at satellite photos when determining where to book your campsite. Trust me and don't book these.
This whole area is not worth visiting if you want to get in the water. I mean, it's a great last resort, but the ground is incredibly muddy, scummy and okay. It's just okay. If you are in any of the sites I mentioned you won't have a lick of shade and you gotta walk down a cruddy rocky hill to get to your car and site.
There were folks who were staying in the other sites who complained, but really, they had no excuse...They had shade and a lovely view. We had dry dirts, rocks and long stupid walk to a scummy swimming hole.

Lake is so low and provides no “beach” type experience. Camp ground is a few minutes drive from the lake with no view of the lake whatsoever.

Online, it appeared as though our campsite would be partially shaded, but sadly it was in direct sunlight. Water was hard to access, although depicted to be in the background of the photo of the site when booking. Bathrooms across the way from our site were EXTREMELY SMELLY, unclean, and did not have toilet paper. Also, they did not flush. Other restrooms were about a 7 min walk away - had flushing toilets, but no toilet paper. Never saw access to running water or beach/water/recreation access. A lot of boats and jet skis were in the water once we accessed it. We ended up driving to a nearby lake, about an hour away. Pretty inconvenient. The positives: nice and quiet at night/perfect for if you're just trying to party around a campfire with your friends (as we did).

Paying full price to camp with our motorhome and there where no dump stations or water area to fill our fresh watwr tanks. The dump station and water station where torn up and broken down as well as blocked off. When i asked a ranger about it i was told the stations have been xloaed for over a year now and that i needed to drive into angela camp ro dump my tanks and fill my feesh water tank. At a gas expense and dump fee i had to pay besides the inconvenience of having to drive into town. The bathroom in lower manzanita was closed half of the days i was there due to no water. I left 3 days early on my prepaid reservarion because i was frusgrayed and disgusted at the campground and employees. The site to book reservations should lwt thw public no what amenities are down, what this are closed and wheather or not dumping stations wtc are closed before they book a campsite. I wasted alot of money to get the expeeience.of parking in a landfill dumo or on the side of some road with nothing. The experience sucked and so does the campground.
