We had a wonderful time at Badgers. Campsites are clean and well maintained. Nice walk to the lakeside. Very beautiful

Camp Richardson's Badgers Den offers a beautiful location with convenient access to the beach, restaurants, and activities, making it a cherished spot for many visitors. Most reviewers highlighted the cleanliness of the campgrounds and the friendliness of the staff, with some enjoying amenities like the ice cream shop and bike rentals. However, issues such as noise from fellow campers and inadequate bathroom supplies were noted, along with challenges related to bear safety and enforcement of quiet hours, suggesting room for improvement in management.

I thought the ammenities nearby Camp Richardson were great but the bathrooms were filthy and the sites were very close together. I stayed at three other campgrounds on this trip and they were all much cleaner than Camp Richardson. We also had a squatter in our campsite when we arrived. They were supposed to check out by noon but at 4pm the previous people were still there. We notified the campground and they said that the employees should have noticed that well in the advance of our arrival but they did not.

Our state was absolutely wonderful the campgrounds were clean and enough Personnel around making sure everything stayed as offered. I would definitely camp back at this campsite again.

The camp was way cleaner and bathrooms stocked when it was privately owned. This time saw employees on their phones outside the bathrooms which had not paper towels or toilet paper. We had free showers and now cost 3.00 and far from our camp.

The campsite experience depends a lot on your neighbors. In our experience the quiet times are not enforced. So if your neighbors are loud you will not be able to sleep.
The location is excellent and very convenient to walk to Pope beach.

Such a beautiful place to stay. It’s in the perfect location with many activities to do and amazing views to see. One thing I recommend is just clean up after yourself. You are in bear territory, be clean, and you have no issues in the middle of the night with the Bears.

We love Camp Rich. Always the best time. It may be time to tell other visitors they don't need to set off their car alarms every time they see a bear , just keep your things locked up.!
