We have been coming to Fallen Leaf Lake for years and finally camped for the first time. It was incredible with close proximity to the lake, walking distance to Camp Richardson and Lake Tahoe. Great place if you love hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, etc. The campsites are large with plenty of space from other camp sites. We're excited to come back in the fall to see the Aspen trees turn their beautiful colors.

Site #36 is across from the camp hosts (or contracted staff?) and restroom facilities. There isn’t much privacy, but the site vehicle area is very big. Bear container, table, fire ring all provided. Campground has amenities and small store if you need anything. No bear sightings.

Fallen Leaf never disappoints. This is such a beautiful campground, and this site backs up to a beautiful green meadow. The campground hosts are great, and work very hard to keep the campground clean and orderly. The camp store has everything you need from a few basic groceries, to a nice selection of souveniers. Showers are available for tokens. Token machine takes $1, $5, and $10 bills. The bears are very active, so be sure to use the bear box. Cell service is very spotty. Highly recommend this campground.

Wonderful campground. Very big but campsites are widely spaced.

Since this was off season, first week in June, there were no crowds, facilities were very clean and staff was very attentive.

Clean, roomie, has a space heater and electricity. Great place to camp if you want an easy site setup. 1 full sized bed bunked with a twin bed above and a couch that probably folds out (we kept it in couch mode. There was a table and a chair and lamp as well. Sky light was a plus for light and stars at night. Camp site was clean, restrooms clean and accessible, you’ll need to bring soap for hand washing. Water is a short walk away and drinkable. Staff was pleasant and informative. If you haven’t, then, You should. Happy Camping!

We stayed at Fallen Leaf Camp Ground, for two days in our RV. It was one of our best RV experiences due to the fact that this campground was such a pleasure to stay at. Extremely organized, easy with check in and everything about it was superb. We rode our bikes to the Baldwin Beach along the bike path, easy and beautiful scenery. The Fallen Leaf Lake has some of the most spectacular views.
Highly recommend this campground when visiting Lake Tahoe.

We had such a nice time at Fallen Leaf Lake. Our campsite (#73) was great for our 36 ft Fifth Wheel. It was a large campsite with a good amount of shade. The bathrooms were close and we had a spigot next to our campsite. There were 2 bears walking around, so we just kept our distance. The lake is a short walk from this campsite. It is a great lake for kayaks and paddle boards. There are also lots of hikes near Fallen Leaf Lake. Can't wait to go back!
