I’ve camped here many times. And it’s always been a wonderful experience.

We love Lake Tahoe and the proximity of it from this campground. Our camp space was not even close to being level and it was a challenge to make our RV level. The check in line backed out in the highway and we had to block traffic to wait in line. Also, our site had leftover trash from previous campers. Overall we were disappointed with the maintenance of this campground.

We stayed at RV sites 7, 5 and 4, near the main road, across from the Camp Richardson Hotel. Road noise was tolerable, sites were almost perfectly level. Sites deeper into the campground tend to need more leveling of the rv. Check in process was seamless, window tags were ready for us at the booth when we arrived. The Grove restaurant had great food and service, right on the lake. Live music was terrific! We stayed the first week of August and enjoyed great weather and friendly campers

Sites were very close together in this area and the site was not cleaned. Litter on the ground and trash in the bear box.

We have stayed at this place for the past few years and it’s our favorite place to camp. We are excited every year to book our stay.

We have been coming to Camp Richardson for about 6 years. Everything about the facility is wonderful but the bathrooms on the RV camp spots are disgusting. I have 2 small children and I don't dare give them a bath in those bathrooms. With few spots having sewer you end up having to go to the showers so you don't fill up your tank in the RV. The price keeps getting higher but the bathrooms don’t change!

So many campsites are so unleveled!! Wouldn’t take much for the park to level these out.

I’ve been staying at the RV villiage for several years now. I love everything about the campground with the exception of the bathroom facilities. During my stay I saw the toilets were leaking all over the floor. One toilet was clogged and was not fixed for five days. Not to mention that the wood partitions seem to be rotting away which prevents the doors from lining up and locking properly. The showers are also disgusting. The shower curtains were so small that they didn’t cover the shower entrance which led to water flowing out of shower and pooling all over the floors. The shower heads are cheap and vary in how well they work. One shower heads would not angle down and was spraying outside of the shower stall. Neither bathroom or shower room appeared to be cleaned on a regular basis. I my opinion the campground needs to invest in new restroom and shower facilities and have them cleaned on a regular basis.
