We have always liked camping at Richardsons, however, people cranking the music (even past 10pm into midnight) is getting a little old. I see the security guard drive around but nothing is ever done about the noise. People come to relax and have a good time, but some feel that they are the only ones that matter and that taking over the road way, getting hammered, and turning up the music too loud is, in their mind, something everyone should deal with because, again, they are the only ones that matter. But everything else is good, love the area.

The Electrical hookup was right on the entrance to the site - very far from the picknick table, so you either need a very long power cable (60 feet) of forced to park just by the road (like I had to). I never saw such a bad location of the hookup anywere else.
Also the office of the camp is NOT at the enterence and you need to guess or ask were is it.
Whay can't you put in advance a note on the site with the renter name on it, like other RECREATION campgrounds?

The RV Village is located 3 miles south of Tahoe City, on California Highway 89 (Emerald Bay Road).
From Sacramento, take U.S. Highway 50 to South Lake Tahoe and proceed north past the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Highway 89 (the "Y"). Look for the Camp Richardson Resort sign on the right side of the Highway.
From North Shore (I-80, Reno, Truckee) take Highway 89 or U.S. Highway 50 to South Shore.
The campground is accessible via California Highway 89, located approximately 3 miles south of Tahoe City. U.S. Highway 50 is also nearby, providing access to South Lake Tahoe.
Elevation: 1908 feet
4.5 mi drive to downtown South Lake Tahoe (about 9 min)
