RV Village Campground at Camp Richardson Resort

The campsites are too close together with no privacy. Only 1 bathroom facility for entire campground.

Other than the electrical outlet being at the front of the lot requiring a pretty long extension cord, this park was great. Fabulous location within walking distance from the south Tahoe beach. Lots of amenities! An ice cream parlor and coffee shop on site with white chocolate raspberry lates that were amazing (we enjoyed them on ice)! Theres a gift shop and deli right across the street. We took advantage of the hour long horse back riding experience. There is a wonderful restaurant on the beach with live music every night during the summer. There is also a dock with beach rentals including paddle boats and paddle boards. There is also a paved bike trail for several miles. We rented e-bikes close by which were very easy to ride. The bears were very active when we stayed in mid to late June. Our spot had a lot of room behind our RV with a fire pit and picnic table. The wifi did not work at all where we were and our cellular reception was at best one bar (we have ATT). But that is to be expected at most camping grounds :-)

Campground is OK..sites way too unlevel bathrooms randown..but its close to lake..management and booking site are a disaster..they lied to me and canceled my site and gave it to someone they knew!!

Management canceled my reservations and lied said there was construction and sites were closed but they gave them to people they knew!!

Great place. Easy access with our trailer. Grounds clean.

Showers could be cleaner.

Campsites are way too close together. To many campsites for the facilities to accommodate. Restrooms were in horrible condition. For the amount of people with a full campground they would need to have them cleaned four times a day. Possibly more.

We had very good time at Camp Richardson RV park. Its nice and clean place. The sites that we booked were very close and compact. We would book in advance next time for some spacious once. The prices are little on higher side comparing KOA. The location is excellent, close to beach, coffee/Ice cream shop..
Finally, its bear country , bear visited us twice so keep your food stowed away !!

We definitely revisit this site in future and highly recommend anyone booking it.

More campground security. Small children speeding through campground on e-motor cycles. Mentioned to security several times and they did nothing. Kept going on. Also Riding e-moto cycles off road and through vegetation. Also more needs to be done with informing campers with leaving food out. Observed bears coming into camps mid day through early evening getting into left out food and left out bags filled with ?. Through my years this of coming to Camp Richardson RV Camp ground it has only gotten worse .
