Nice campground overall, but site 36 had a few issues. The site wasn’t level, and both the faucet and sewer hookup were located too far forward. I had to pull the RV ahead to connect the water and sewer hoses, then disconnect everything and reposition the RV when we were ready to sleep.
Also, it was a bit disappointing that the showers and restrooms were closed for the off-season. Not a major issue for us since we had an RV, but still worth mentioning.
The WiFi was excellent.

We had booked 3 nights at the RV Campground from April 9th and within 24 hours we added another 2 nights. We enjoyed the site, the peacefullness of the park and all of the bike trails that went everywhere. April is cold at night but we were prepeared. There are no concrete pads in the RV section (they have them everywhere else) and thes sites are not very level and there is lots of dust and dirt to contend with. The only other issue was that the checking in process was very confusing and the signage for the park was hard to see, Every camper that followed us had the same problem.

Amazing campground! First time it was opened through the winter for RVers- and we had a blast! Hidden away enough to experience nature but close enough to South Lake for a morning brew at Drink Coffee Do Stuff! We just bought a Truck Camper so this was our first tryout and what an amazing place to do so! Thank you Rec.gov for keeping this campground open for the winter- we went twice in one week.
