RV Village Campground at Camp Richardson Resort

Too crowded. I felt as though I was camped in a WalMart parking lot. Not my idea of camping. More like just a place to stay in So Lake Tahoe without paying hotel prices.

I have been going to this RV park for over 20 + years and this year has been the worst with the maintenance of the bathrooms. In the previous years the bathrooms were never an issue but this year they were clogged and no toilet paper. The showers were clogged and overflowing. I walked to the hotel to let them know what was going on, but I was told that unfortunately, they can't do anything these issues have been happening for the last 4 years since new management came into effect. I was simply advised to fill out the survey to express my concerns.

I love camp Richardson but I HATE the bathroom at the site. They need people to go actually clean them atleast 2 to 3 times a day.

They shouldn't allow people to but up their shade awnings over night. Also the bathrooms need to be cleaned

Amazing area, very beautiful and comfortable.

Der Platz ist ein pull in, wenn man die Anschlüsse nutzen will, allerdings besteht keine Chance so extrem zu Leveln, so dass man wählen muss zwischen Anschlüssen und halb wega gerade stehen (backin seitlich mit der Tür zu Straße...)

Die Toiletten waren immer schmutzig/ wurden nie gereinigt, die Duschen wurden dann irgendwann als Ersatz Toiletten benutzt.,

Der Campingplatz wird durch Pkw von Strandbesuchern zu geparkt, so dass Rangieren/ wegfahren manchmal unmöglich ist...

Der mit Abstand schlechteste Campingplatz unserer Reise und für bden Preis eine Unverschämtheit.

Great spot, close to the beach. Ice cream on site along with dining options. No cell service (T-mobile), but free internet. Make sure you check the map to understand where hookups are at your site. Had to buy extensions, overall great spot.

I’ve been staying at the RV villiage for several years now. I love everything about the campground with the exception of the bathroom facilities. During my stay I saw the toilets were leaking all over the floor. One toilet was clogged and was not fixed for five days. Not to mention that the wood partitions seem to be rotting away which prevents the doors from lining up and locking properly. The showers are also disgusting. The shower curtains were so small that they didn’t cover the shower entrance which led to water flowing out of shower and pooling all over the floors. The shower heads are cheap and vary in how well they work. One shower heads would not angle down and was spraying outside of the shower stall. Neither bathroom or shower room appeared to be cleaned on a regular basis. I my opinion the campground needs to invest in new restroom and shower facilities and have them cleaned on a regular basis.

So many campsites are so unleveled!! Wouldn’t take much for the park to level these out.
