Christie Campground was incredibly quiet and peaceful for the time of year (August). I don’t believe the campground was more than 10% full on the weekend and the following Monday we were nearly alone! I highly recommend this campground to those willing to RV dry camp or to tent campers.

Bathroom was clean but rundown. Campground not at all crowded; we weren't alone though, which was fine. We were there midsummer and lots of flying bugs, mosquitos, three or four types of flies, and bees. Access to Eagle Lake was easy, just a 5 minute drive, very convenient for kayaking. You could carry your kayak straight to the beach from the campground but it's maybe 1/8 mile. Store was well stocked and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.

What a lovely campground. Our first in an RV, so I have no idea the condition of the bathrooms- but other campers were obviously using them. Any complaint would be regarding other campers. Most dog owners did not keep them leashed.

The Camp Host was nice and friendly, Also Facilities are clean Flush Toilet, Sink, Drinking Water, Table, Fire Pit/BBQ Grill, Trash are available. The only negative? There is no Shower on site! however they have a Coin Operated Shower Rooms available next to the Marina Store 3 Miles away from our Site, So it wasn't too bad. Overall it was a nice 4 Days Stay! Definitely coming back again next time.

Campsites were spaced out and had a lot of trees and shade and was a short walk to the lake. Beautiful location!

Great campsite with plenty of shade, clean bathrooms, and drinking water. The lake nearby is huge and really nice.

The campsite was large and clean and right by the lake. There was hardly anyone there, not sure if that was due to Covid or the fire nearby. But, we had most of the place to ourselves. There is fresh water for drinking and flush toilets. What a treat! There is also a 5 mile bike path the ends/begins at Christie Campground that we utilized. The only downfall well 2 was the recent fires. One left a lot of the surrounding forest in ruin but the campsite had been cleared of brush and dead trees and was great. There was a fire nearby that closed off our main entrance to camp (Eagle Lake Road north of 36) so we had to take an hour detour around the lake to make it to the campsite. We kayaked on the lake and ride bikes and roasted s’mores. All in all, a great trip.
