Although Smokey from fires in the area, the campground was inviting, clean and peaceful. We would definitely go back.

Fantastic location, quiet (almost empty) during the week and even when full on the weekend, everyone was well behaved and obeyed the quiet hours. Camp host was excellent and carefully monitored the campground. Very clean, no trash anywhere. The 5 mile paved trail along the lake was awesome. We were in the CHRISTIE campground, the TROY Loop (space #18 - fantastic!). It appeared that the Merrill campground was much more crowded -- I would stick with Christie. I can't recommend this location more highly.

This was our first time here and it was great. The campground, restrooms, lakeside was very clean. The campground was quiet. The host was very nice. Will be coming back.

The campsite was large and clean and right by the lake. There was hardly anyone there, not sure if that was due to Covid or the fire nearby. But, we had most of the place to ourselves. There is fresh water for drinking and flush toilets. What a treat! There is also a 5 mile bike path the ends/begins at Christie Campground that we utilized. The only downfall well 2 was the recent fires. One left a lot of the surrounding forest in ruin but the campsite had been cleared of brush and dead trees and was great. There was a fire nearby that closed off our main entrance to camp (Eagle Lake Road north of 36) so we had to take an hour detour around the lake to make it to the campsite. We kayaked on the lake and ride bikes and roasted s’mores. All in all, a great trip.

Great campsite with plenty of shade, clean bathrooms, and drinking water. The lake nearby is huge and really nice.

Campsites were spaced out and had a lot of trees and shade and was a short walk to the lake. Beautiful location!

The Camp Host was nice and friendly, Also Facilities are clean Flush Toilet, Sink, Drinking Water, Table, Fire Pit/BBQ Grill, Trash are available. The only negative? There is no Shower on site! however they have a Coin Operated Shower Rooms available next to the Marina Store 3 Miles away from our Site, So it wasn't too bad. Overall it was a nice 4 Days Stay! Definitely coming back again next time.

What a lovely campground. Our first in an RV, so I have no idea the condition of the bathrooms- but other campers were obviously using them. Any complaint would be regarding other campers. Most dog owners did not keep them leashed.
