About Christie Campground

Christie Campground is located in the Eagle Lake Recreation Area of the Lassen National Forest. This recreation area has five campgrounds, three designated day use areas and a marina on the south shore of Eagle Lake. All these recreation facilities are connected by a 5.2 mile paved hiking/bike trail. The Osprey Overlook, another day use area in the recreation area, can be hiked or driven to for a scenic view of the southern end of Eagle Lake and the surrounding forest basin. The Lassen National Forest offers a variety of lakes, streams and wilderness areas for recreational opportunities. Such a peaceful place with beautiful scenery, but the best part was the wonderful camp host, Mary. She’s an absolute gem and made our stay truly unforgettable. Thank you so much, Mary

Very nice campground in the woods near the lake. The camp host is especially nice and attentive. She was very caring and professional after we saw a bear cross the campground quite close to our site.

The bathrooms were kept clean, the camp spaces were spacious and spaced apart well enough, and our camp host was great. We enjoyed the location, the walking path, and access to trails for running and hiking.

Site and campground were very nice. Neighbors dog was constantly howling. Barely fit down the campground road with a 44ft 5th wheel. Despite these small issues I would stay there again. Hosts were nice.

We always love our stay at Christie campground. We have been coming to Eagle Lake for over 30 years. Christie is the place we love. Our camp host Mary is a jewel. We love her. She keeps everything clean and is friendly. Always checking to see how we are doing. We love the wide open spaces and the bike trail. We bring our boat and anchor it at the shore. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
