What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Our entire campsite was on a hill. There was one small spot to put a single tent. 2 of the 3 tents in our party had to sleep in the car both nights. The closest bathroom was a half mile away (we measured it). Also our site had no shade and was COVERED in Yellowjackets. I’ve never reviewed a campsite before because they are always good enough, but not this one. Why offer this site as an option if the ENTIRE site is on a hill!?!
