I was not sure what site to pick, so I just randomly picked site 61. That was probably the crappiest site in the campground. There is no formal parking spot at that site, just an area on the road where you are supposed to park. It was tight as a large camper was parked on the road on the other side. I was afraid someone would come blasting thru there and clip my vehicle, but that never happened. LIttle to zero shade at that site.
The campground is OK, I just picked the worst site in it. That is all I have to say. Next time I will look a bit harder.

Definitely a great location and would consider camping here again. My only two complaints are that the restrooms weren't maintained well (or that people are just gross) and the space we reserved didn't really have a flat area for our tent. Both easy to deal with but frustrating. Pretty experienced camper with different bathroom facilities (or none) and so for the bathrooms in the entire Kings Canyon and Sequoia Park, including at the visitor centers, I was honestly wishing I could just dig a cat-hole and it'd be better. Otherwise, awesome experience and super quiet campsite.

Great campgrounds, very peaceful. Had a bear walk right through our camp site however at 10 PM which definitely got the heart pumping eh. Be careful when you're in nature folks!

site 41 doesn’t have any shade during the morning and afternoon. very spacious site with enough flat ground for 5 4-person tents. water spigot right at this site which means other people are washing their dishes here. there’s a trail down to the river right behind this site which means random people are going to walk right through the site to get to it

Great campsite. Some spaces have better views than others but they are all great. Bathrooms and bear boxes are clean. Sound of the river from many of the sites. Bear in my campsite first night. Follow food rules and make noise when you leave your the at night. Fires were ok but it's only what you can find on the ground. Tons of wood so that worked out well.

I felt threatened by the gang activity in Grant Grove Village. I thought this was supposed to be a family oriented park. Come on California, get your act together!

From Fresno, CA, follow California State Highway 180 East to Cedar Grove. Moraine Campground is located on the left (north) side of the road .75 miles east of Cedar Grove. Vehicles over 22 feet are not advised between Potwisha Campground and the Giant Forest Museum when entering through Sequoia National Park. Vehicles over 22 feet should use the Kings Canyon National Park Entrance.
Moraine Campground is accessible via California State Highway 180, which leads east from Fresno to Cedar Grove.

General
- If your campsite remains vacant for 24 hours after your arrival date it will be cancelled and made available on rec.gov. You will be charged for the first night's campsite fee and a $10 cancellation fee, all other fees after that will be refunded. Recreation.gov policies apply to all reservations, cancellations, refunds and date changes. Call (559) 565-3792 if you will be arriving 24 hours after your arrival date so your site won't be cancelled. Upon making a campground reservation: Site occupants agree to follow ALL campground rules. Failure to comply may result in a fine. You are responsible for your guests.
- Quiet Hours 10pm to 6am- Music, talking, and generators should not be audible beyond your immediate campsite. Unreasonable noise is prohibited any time of day.
- Tire Chains may be required at any time. Be prepared at any time of year for a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions. Check Road Conditions at nps.gov/seki. Vehicles longer than 22 feet (including trailers) are not advised between Potwisha Campground and the Giant Forest Museum. Dangerous Rivers! Many drowning victims were playing near rivers. Rivers present a far greater danger than lakes or pools. Surfaces may look calm, but strong currents often run below. Be cautious walking near rivers as rocks can be slippery. Getting out of a cold, swift river is often impossible. Falling Objects- Don't linger under dead, cracked, or broken branches. Run if you hear cracks or snapping from tree roots, trunks, or branches (know that sometimes there is no sound, and very little time to react). Report falling branches or trees to a ranger. A California state fishing license is required to fish in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, and Sequoia National Forest lakes and streams. Fishing licenses may be available at National Park and National Forest markets.
