What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground is well-maintained, clean, and set in a beautiful location near the river with ample hiking opportunities and great privacy between sites. Campers appreciate the friendly rangers and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in quieter months. While some facilities had minor issues, overall, guests enjoy a fantastic experience in nature.

The site is close to the neighbor, but has a space open alone to ours in the other direction. Very flat and close to the washing sink. The campground is close to the end of the kings canyon NP, which is a perfect night to spend if decide to explore around the mist falls area, the best part of Kings IMO, since you don't need to drive another hour in the morning from the entry point just to get to here > <

I love this Campground! It’s beautiful, i love that is right next to the river! It’s awesome that it’s walking distance to the Store. I also love that the visitor center is located in the campground.

This was my first camping at a National Park campground. The experience was great, even though there is a federal shutdown going on. The downside was that visitor centers were closed. Every day we had rangers doing patrols by the morning and they where really helpful with tips and solving questions. The campground was really relaxing and campers around us very respectful. The toilets were working and clean!
