What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground offers a beautiful setting with spacious, shaded sites and proximity to the river, making it ideal for hiking and outdoor activities. Many visitors appreciate the serene atmosphere and the campground's access to nearby amenities, such as the store and ranger programs. However, the facilities, particularly the restrooms, are in disrepair and require maintenance, which detracts from the overall experience.

The bathrooms were clean and the site was good but around 9pm
Cars were honking and people were banging pots we were not sure why as it was another part of the campground. Sadly no rangers were there to help us. People left out plastic bins as they figured this is bear proof and no rangers did anything but earlier that week there was an issue with a bear so not sure why there is no one to be available at the campground for us

Great site and great location. Beautiful tall trees and creek nearby. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Fire rings and grills are good. Bear box was functional. Bears visited the campground 2 out of our 3 nights my guess is that it was mostly due to a large party who weren’t diligent about food and trash storage.

sentinel campground has got to be one of the best. It is clean and well run. the rangers are fantastic.
The reservation process STINKS!!!! The process is stressful and difficult. The Canadian system is much fairer . Many campsites are vacant for days even though they are reserved. People have to reserve more dates than they need just to secure the dates they want. CHANGE THE SYSTEM!!!

Far too many people with no campground etiquette and far too many barking dogs. We had two people come into our campsite and take wood when they thought no one was looking!!!!! I’ve been camping at cedar grove for 68 years and it’ll be a long time before I come back. It’s very sad.

Loved this campground! We were in campsite 22, which was perfectly located— on the outer rim, near the river, close to the bathroom and water spigot. The market at Cedar Grove Lodge was surprisingly well-stocked, and there were showers available there. All in all, the perfect campground.
