What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground offers a beautiful setting with spacious, shaded sites and proximity to the river, making it ideal for hiking and outdoor activities. Many visitors appreciate the serene atmosphere and the campground's access to nearby amenities, such as the store and ranger programs. However, the facilities, particularly the restrooms, are in disrepair and require maintenance, which detracts from the overall experience.

The location made for decently long drives to other parts of the parks. A bit crowded. The sink in the men's was broken, and the door to the women's was as well. The firepit was so full of ash that my first task was to empty it. Fortunately there was an ash bin nearby. Might've been the park was hit by the federal layoffs?

Amazing campsite, absolutely beautiful with space between sites. I would stay here again any time, it was a much welcome break from people. The bats at sunset were a joy to watch. I loved how convenient it was to explore the canyon of Kings Canyon.

We really liked Sentinel campground, we stayed here so that we could hike from the road's end first thing in the morning. Our campsite was a really great location, we could walk through the trees to the river, where we sat and ate our dinner. Nice and spacious, really quiet, great stars at night. We loved Kings Canyon in general, and would definitely come back to this campground.

Love our stay at Sentinel campground conveniently located right next to the Kings River which the kids did not stay out off while we were there and I did not miss a chance to fish and catch me some wild trout.
