Lovely spot in a huge campground. Conveniently located near trails. Very popular with families too.

Only stayed for a night and ended up arriving just before dinner time so don’t have much to say but it was clean for a campground and a great location

Ive been camping here for 27 years straight & Site #89 was the biggest and best site out of all the campgrounds, not just Sheep Creek. While it was closed the past couple years there was downed trees that were left there so now it is one of the smallest sites in Kings Cyn!!! Room for only 2 tents....used to be able to spread out with 6! Very disappointed that the downed trees weren't cleared out. Guess ill be looking for a different site next year 😢

Campground was clean, bathrooms got a little funky on the weekend but thats understandable with the volume of people that were there. Great location, the river was everything I wanted, clean, refreshing and natural. Bears came through the Campground at night which is exactly what we were hoping for.

Space #88 is a slim parking space and hard to fit an RV with a slideout, as it has trees on either side. The camp was nearly full, with lots of campers with camp fires in 80 °F warm nights. It’s one of the larger sites, with ample room for our needs. The other campers wanted to sleep as much as us, and we were thankful for the midweek quiet nights.

Loved it!! We’ve been at 4 others on this trip and Sheep Creek is by far our favorite. Hands down.
