A wonderful campground with great sites. The only downside was there were no garbage bins. You had to take your garbage to the visitor center.

We have a 20 foot camper van. The pad was pretty level. There is a nice view of the mountains in the evening from the picnic table and the fire ring. Not sure there is a good level spot for a tent. There is good distance from neighboring sites and close proximity to the bathrooms. I suppose the bathroom cleanliness is suffering based on NPS funding issues, but they were pretty decent

Was amazing to be there before all of the visitor centers opened up because it was so quiet and peaceful (before May 15th). Got to burn in the fire pit any debris already cut in campground which was an amazing bonus. Sheep creek is a great location but a distance from sequoia so keep in mind the time it takes to get there. Highly recommend the Boyden cavern and Hume lake nearby.

Beautiful site. Saw a bear at night so they are definitely around, but no issues with bear box

Beautiful campsite with a lot of room for my kids to play catch. Parking spot could only really fit one car but it seemed like all sites had this problem.

Great place to stay. Close to Cedar Grove Village. Great trails and overlook.

Clean bathrooms, helpful ranger/attendant, and convenient bear boxes and tables. However, our campsite 111 was torn up by heavy equipment during the recent tree trimming, so we spent about an hour with a shovel re-leveling a space for our tent.

The one thing I’d ask the park to improve is water quality available in the campground. I didn’t dare to drink any on my trip. Other things campers should know is that there is very high bear activity in the park and campground. Take all usual precautions and expect a visit from a bear. Overall, way more space and natural feeling than camping at Upper Pines for instance. Will be back!
