Surprised to find the camp 90% empty on 5/25, Memorial Day. Quiet camp, lovely weather until day 3. Temps dropped and it rained hard all night. Not fun. The fishing was terrible, but it's fishing not catching.

Camps were poorly maintained with downed trees all over.
Bathroom was filthy & never cleaned while I was there. Load parties & music late at night.
Never once saw a Ranger on patrol. Very disappointed compared to the 50+ years I've been going there.

Our family had an amazing experience at Sheep Creek Campground in Kings Canyon National Park. We spent a wonderful time together enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the area, the peaceful surroundings, and the incredible natural scenery that makes this place so special.
The campground was very clean, well-maintained, and organized, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the hard work that goes into keeping the facilities and campsites in such excellent condition.
A special thank you to all the staff members and park rangers for their dedication, professionalism, and kindness. Their efforts help create a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for visitors.
We are grateful for the opportunity to spend quality time with our family in such a beautiful place and look forward to returning. Thank you for helping make our visit so enjoyable!

After Sheep Creek camp ground had been closed for few years due to fallen trees, and all the effort t took to clean it up in order to to get into a habitable condition, I was thrilled to go back and enjoy camping there. Many sincere thanks to the management and to all the hard working lumberjacks crew who did an amazing job.

There were hardly any campers when we were here in early June. It was very quiet except for the creek which we could hear but couldn't get to from our site even though we were very close. Many downed trees everywhere-which also makes it easy to collect fire wood. The bathrooms have flush toilets, yay!, but no lights at night-bring a flashlight. An easy walk on the path to the small visitors center or the Cedar Grove market. The sites themselves vary greatly with mostly very small parking pads but huge spaces with the bear boxes and picnic tables a long way away. Did not see any bears. Loved the Mist Falls trail, the Roaring River Falls and the Grizzly Falls. Zumwalt Meadow big disappointment as loop trail washed away several years ago and doesn't seem like it will be repaired. Also loved the Boyden Cavern.

Trashed, terrible bathrooms. Most pit toilets are better than their flush toilet situation.

Nice campground with easy water and bathroom access. When we got there someone was set up in our reserved site and we couldn't find a host or ranger to speak with about it so we had to confront the person and luckily they packed up and left but we had to wait about 30min or so. Had site 72 which was nice and large with a flat area for our tent and plenty of wood when searching around.
