absolutely no reception (i’m okay with that), some mosquitoes, good camp ground this one is just on an incline so very limited options on where to place your tent if you want a good night sleep

Had a great time the two nights we were here. The site was clean and well maintained and had a water spigot the next campsite over and was a quiet time overall. It was nice hearing the river flow, and the sound of the wind through the trees. If I’m at Kings Canyon Area again, I would stay here.

This is our third year coming to Kings Canyon, to either Sentinel or Sheeps Creek campsites (right next to each other). We love it, every year we discover something new to do in the area with the hiking and the river - stunning views. The campsite itself is great - simple, lots of firewood around, fire pits, access to streams and the hotel creek. Ranger stopped in on our first day and verified the campsite rules with us. Other campers very cordial and generally respectful of the quiet times. The bathrooms are cleaned each morning and have working plumbing. Cedar Grove village store is great, has lots of necessary items and a nice selection of drinks. We love the place, and will keep coming back.

Do be careful when booking because a lot of the sites are not flat so you could be propped right on a slope all night if you’re not careful. Overall I’d absolutely come back again. It’s beautiful, our neighbors were great, the bears aren’t as big of an issue as we were expecting. We had several bears in our campsite and we ran into a bear on the Zumwalt Meadows hike but they’re not a big problem.

Super clean and quiet, the creek on the right side of the campground isn’t there anymore sadly. It was a very nice and spread out campground and everyone respected quiet time.

Wide shaded campsite with lots of fire wood around. Hiked Roaring River falls and saw deer and 2 fawns. No bear sightings but heard they were active!

Sheep’s creek never disappoints. Bathrooms kept clean. Ranger presence was very much appreciated in the campground.

Amazing campground to get away from everything. No cell service at all which was very nice. River was nice and cold and gave great background noise.

Had several power outages for a couple of days, couldnt shop or shower. Our site was sloped, but it was a beautiful area.
