Had a wonderful time. Nice shaded campsite near the restroom and trash. A lot of things to do. A lot of bear activity so keep food in food lockers.

Our family really enjoyed our time at the campground and the creek. However, the crowd that kept shouting bear during the night was outputting.

The campground is fine, some sites are aways from the car pad. The river and canyon are gorgeous. The campground administration is a bit off. The concessionaire was slow to clean the restrooms (they were discussing for over 24 hours) and the park service does not post what is reserved and what is open. This is likely because there is no camp host. Park service employees come around a day or two into your stay to check you in. What if someone takes your reserved site - no one to talk to.

The most beautiful place we've visited, bears included, was a peaceful spot, far from devices, surrounded by beautiful trees and a river.

Reservation system worked great. Our site, #16, had room for three tents. It was 95 degrees each day we were there, but from our site it was a short walk along the bike trail to a clear path that led down to a nice swimming hole on the river. We were very happy to have brought a pop-up shade to cover the bear box, which otherwise would have been in constant strong sun. A young bear visited us almost daily at 3 p.m., and the 5-mile hike (each way) to Mist Falls is a must-do Overall, we loved the area.

They created an artificial unavailablity with the showers by requiring tokens to shower. Showers should have been free with the stay, or at the very least easily purchased

Very nice campground. A lot of campsites. After driving one hour in pitch dark. Surrounded by other campsites with people give a sense of security

Loved the proximity to the river! Very peaceful and serene. Be prepared for lots of wildlife though, we had multiple bear encounters and a rattlesnake by the bear box. Can’t wait to go back!

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Do not leave propane tanks in the park; take them home for disposal.
