All good but we did notice that the bathrooms were looked at on day 2 of day 6 only. A faucet was turned off in one of the bathrooms due to a leak so unfortunately we only had one functioning bathroom for 20 plus people. Oh well, we adjusted.

wow! I'm in love with this campsite, I wish people were more mindful of this beautiful place. It looks like the people before us were a little messy, we tried to clean up as much as possible and leave the place better than how we found it. Definitely coming back again.

We stayed here for the last 4 days and it was beautiful. The bathrooms were very well kept and clean it was nice it have a flushable toilets up here. The camp just Jeff was great and very friendly and made sure we were all settled in nicely. Hoping to book again for next year.

Cool location with nice water near by. Bathrooms were very clean and well supplied. I’d say just bring a light for evening hours, the lighting is somewhat dim. Great time at Palisade.

Getting There
From U.S. Highway 395, take the Tom's Place exit, 13 mi south of Mammoth Lakes or 30 mi north of Bishop. Turn left on Rock Creek Road and follow for about 6 mi to Palisades Group Campground on the right.
Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Reserved sites must be occupied by noon the day after your arrival or they will be forfeited.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Parking is limited; check with the host for additional vehicle parking instructions.
Safety & rules
- Use caution when traveling to this high elevation facility.
Wildlife & food storage
- Keep food secured to avoid attracting bears and do not feed wildlife.
Fires & fuel
- Campfires and charcoal fires may be restricted due to hot, dry conditions.
- Purchase firewood locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
