The campground host was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The campground is peaceful and beautiful. I would be very careful when choosing a site - especially if you are towing a trailer. The interior roads are narrow and they have lined them with rocks and timbers making it quite challenging to back into sites.

This was one of the cleanest and most calmest campgrounds I have ever been to, the size of the campgrounds are very large and the bathroom bathrooms smell nice and they are very well kept by the host. We also had amazing camp neighbors and it is such an a convenient area and it felt like we can play music and talk without bothering others and it was well taken care of!

There’s definitely a fair bit of road noise from the highway, but if you can get past that it’s a great campground, nice sites, plenty of shade, clean bathrooms. Walk-in sites are downhill and close to the river so the highway noise is not so bad.

My favorite is to be able to lay down in the tent right next to the river. Listening the sound of water is very soothing. I also like that the location is very close to the city of Truckee where I need to get grocery. When I need a water activity, it is also close to the Tahoe city where I did 3-4 hours of river rafting. Overall, I enjoyed very much that I want to return again. Camp host, Sierra is very helpful. She understood an issue and quickly went out to solve it. Having a camp host on site helps me feel ease.

Lovely space by the river with easy access to 89. Some road noise, but it quiets down at night.

Stayed in site #28, down by the river. I would only stay in river spots. The others are near the main road, and there is sizable road noise from passing trucks and cars.

Our interaction with the camp host was odd. The sites are nice and big and spread out. Some road noise is heard but overall a great place next to the river

We stayed in camp sites 14 and 16. Other campers would walk through our camp site to get theirs next to the river. Would be nice if there were signs to direct campers where the trail is located.
