What Guests Are Saying
Silver Creek in Truckee offers a comfortable and spacious camping experience, particularly for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The proximity to Lake Tahoe and the Truckee River enhances recreational opportunities, and the campground staff are notably friendly and helpful. While there are concerns about road noise and basic facilities, the overall experience is positive, with clean sites and a beautiful natural setting.

Great location by the Truckee River and Squaw Valley (I went skiing over July 4th and stayed at Silver Creek then). There is an outhouse toilet but that is about all there is there in terms of amenities (no running water or electricity is my recollection). So as long as you are prepared for that, it shouldn't be an issue.
