We didn’t think we would get a reservation IN the park, we heard they fill up 6 months ahead, so we were happy to secure a spot with full hook-ups, VERY affordable and worth the $12 more for hookups than dry-docking. We didn’t eat at the restaurant or use the pool, camp is very quiet, I only wish that ALL of the lights at Stovepioe would be turned off by 10 pm for night star gazing.

Nice campground, but many sites lack level areas that are more conducive to tent campers, such as myself. As with most FS and NPS campgrounds, seem to be catering more to RV campers and trailers that just pull in and don't really need a flat space to pitch a tent. That said, most sites have spaces to pitch a tent but may not be the most level.
