Clean site, but small. Tent was too close to fire pit to have a fire

Camped in the Cottonwood B loop. Garbage dumpster was FULL when I arrived, and four days later it had not been emptied.
Toilet seat was very loose, which made for a quite slippery #2 action. Bathroom was not clear upon arrival, and was not cleaned during my four day stay. No maps or guide books made any mention of "Hall of Horrors" rock formation.

Make sure you take enough water if you got to the Lost Palms Oasis. Long hike up and down

Good size camping area, nice bathrooms, plenty of toilet paper. A little far from more attractive areas in the park but still a great place to settle down and watch the stars at night.

Firsts of all it was not easy to reserve a spot. I arrived there it would be packed since all sites were booked as far as I experienced during the reservation period. Instead at least half of them were empty. The worst part is the one next site were all nighters. They were so loud all night. I know it is not park’s fault but I have not had my expected peaceful and quiet day.
