Weve been to three of the Indian Cove Group sites and site 7 is not as good as the others. The only options for pitching your tent are close to the bathrooms and the smell carries 🤢. Got very windy at night and, unlike other group sites, there were no good spots to pitch a tent behind rocks for cover. Good rock scrambling at site 7 though.

Fantastic campground!! There seemed to be no check-in process but it was super easy to find the site. Surprisingly had cell service, too. Also had a private bathroom per site which was surprising but very convenient. Easy to walk around and view scenery around the campsite. Would definitely do this here again.

Take Interstate 10 to State Highway 62. Go past the West Entrance at Park Boulevard and continue east another 9.3 mi. Turn south on Indian Cove Road. Follow the road into the campground. If coming from the east, follow Highway 62 approximately seven miles west of the city of Twentynine Palms and turn south onto Indian Cove Road.
Highway access
The campground is accessible via Interstate 10 and State Highway 62. It is located approximately 9.3 miles east of the West Entrance at Park Boulevard off Highway 62.
