A wonderful and private group campsite. Very well kept. Bathrooms were clean for my group's arrival. Plenty of rock structures to explore and provide shade. Gorgeous drive into the park. Would highly recommend and we will be making this our annual spot.

Great campsite. A little more dirt than Jumbo Rocks so things did get a bit dirtier. The bees were really bad also but overall a great trip.

Site was amazing and the rocks behind the site where so much fun for everyone including the kids to go explore and climb. The wind was crazy, must of the day and all night. Make sure you bring plenty of stacks to make sure nothing flies ways. Overall great trip.

Really enjoyed our stay, and only minor issue was there were some people in our reserved spot when we got there but it's understandable due to Park rangers not being able to go check camping sites. Completely dark at night so we had a very fun time.

This was my first time at Joshua Tree and it did not disappoint! Climbing rocks, walking the trails, star gazing - all activities took my breath away.
The group campground was perfect for 12 of us. We were tucked in between two large rock formations which provided a good amount privacy and we could barely hear our neighbors. Some of the kids at the neighboring camp would climb over to our side in the early morning around 6am and play which I guess could be bothersome to some, however, I don't go anywhere without ear plugs so it wasn't an issue. The vault toilets were probably the best ones I've ever been in. They were cleaned daily and not the slightest bit smelly (we were there mid April so perhaps the mild temperatures played a part). My only complaint is the amount of trash that was scattered around the site when we arrived. Do your part and leave the site better than you found it.
I can't wait to go back!
