What Guests Are Saying

Lake Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with clean facilities and friendly staff. Campsite 006 is highly recommended due to its elevated position and proximity to the lake, which is just a short walk away. However, campsites 005 and others near the restroom face issues with odor and noise, making them less desirable.

Beautiful campground, got there on a Friday night. Beautiful views and fresh air. No signal on phone, but we don’t go camping to be on our phones. Payment was easy online kind of confusing as it was both first come first serve and reservation. No issues setting up camp. Other campers were friendly. Fished on Saturday and went home early Sunday morning. Amazing! Will be going back!

We enjoyed the stay there a lot. Already the drive up there with the RV was very nice. And the stroll around the lake the next morning and the chats with the fishermen there just added another nice touch to the nice memories we will carry with us from the stay at the campground.
The only disappointment were the people which did not understand that the lid of the toilet shall always be closed immediately after use. Even after telling them they would refuse to do it. This was ver unpleasant as we got the spot directly next to the toilet and the smell was nearly unbearable. But that is of course a question of education and behaviour of the campground guests!

The campsites are clean and the restrooms clean also. The only issue I have is that I could not find a level ground for my tent, other than that the site was great and would recommend.

The good: Sites are spacious with well built fire pits and picnic tables. Parking was simple although the one way drive through direction seems to be backwards from what's intuitive. The fishing was nice, we didn't catch anything but you could see there were fish in the small lake. The road runs next to the campgrounds so there is the sound of cars and motorcycles but not unpleasant for a rider like myself.

The bad: One toilet had a broken door, and the other no toilet paper. There were hundreds of flies in each stall which was pretty gross but not totally unexpected.

Overall: I would recommend this place to anyone interested in easy walkable fishing access or wants to use it as a staging area for a motorcycle camping trip.
