Campground was very well maintained and peaceful/quiet. Our space was beautiful with a view of Mt. Baldy. Some irritating smoke was present due to a prescribed burn at edge of campground for 2 of the days, but luckily the wind carried it away quickly and we were able to sleep without smoke.
We drove on a geology tour of the San Andreas fault, which is very near this campground. Also had a nice afternoon in the town of wrightwood, with lunch at the local brewery.
There were very few other campers present, most likely because we camped mid-week and it was early in the season. Also Table mtn. is very convenient to visit from the Los Angeles area, less than 2 hours drive from our home. Will definitely plan to return again.

Our go to camping spot for nature, calmness and fun. Love the amphitheater, clean bathrooms, sites spaced well so you don’t hear other groups. Kid friendly and dog friendly

Easy to find, the campground was very clean, clean restrooms, accessible to water faucet. The only thing negative was that it was super cold at night.

Nothing wrong with the actual location-but each day we were there some genius decided it would be great to have forestry work going on-with an open campground. So each day right before 7AM, chainsaws, wood chipping machines, backhoes, work vehicles parking right next to our spot and talking loudly PRIOR to 7AM. Absolute moronic management-this would be Mountain High that runs this place. F+ for this visit. Do your work AFTER the season has ended, rather than ruin what is supposed to be a quiet and peaceful visit.
