For a close-to-home getaway, this place can’t be beat. An hour’s drive from home takes us to a peaceful getaway with fresh air, blue skies, and beautiful scenery. The campground is well maintained (while we don’t use the restrooms) and most sites are well spaced. I’d include our favorite but I want to keep that to myself so it’s available when we want it. :) There’s also good hiking available in the area including the PCT.

We had a great family weekend here. We stayed at site #73 and it was very convenient to the water source and the washrooms. It was also very close to the amphitheatre and a nice walk around the loop. The main downside was there wasn't much tree coverage - we brought a hammock but unfortunately there wasn't anywhere to hang it as the few trees present were not a good distance apart. Late mornings to noon were quite hot, though we did feel shade coverage as the afternoon came in (maybe around 2 or 3pm). This site is fairly exposed. Please note it is also very close to site #72 so be prepared to see your neighbours often. The hosts were really friendly. They sold firewood for $8/bundle.

Amazing place. Very pretty, peaceful, and relaxing. Bathrooms were kept clean, water available, but no showers. Definitely would go back.

Nice campground that's close but feels like you are far from everything when you are there. Very big sites and quite.
