We had a pleasant stay at Table Mountain. Clean site. Great view. Only complaint was restroom closest to site 40 was closed, but there was another one 1/4 mi away. Would definitely stay again. Not crowded! Sites nicely spaced out. Very peaceful. No fire because of ban. That was a bummer, but we survived. Thank you!

It was a great weekend. The only problem was the fire restriction. It was a bit chilly the weekend we went and a fire would have really helped. But we made the best of it and had a great time. Thankfully town isn't too far away so we went and had our dinners in wrightwood.

The location is nice but our site was not good for tent camping. It was a steep hill and not at all good with young kids who like to run around either. The camp host was no where to he found at checkin, so we couldn't ask to change sites.

Overall, it's a pleasant, forested area. However, the description, which lists "Shade", is highly inaccurate. My campsite, and many others had no shade at all. Do not rely on the site's description. I would suggest photos of individual campsites, as is the norm in most other Recreation.gov locations.

Easy to book and check in. Campsite was clean and safe. Views from some of the campsites are beautiful.

This campground is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. We stayed at site 65 which was in the "hilly area" and the sites there are ample. Our camp host Doug was quite helpful with our site and our questions about the surrounding area and activities. There is a wonderful hiking trail that circles the entire campsite which is less than 3 mi long. Our stay was 7 days and we did not have any neighbors the entire duration of the trip. We are definitely returning to this beautiful campground.

Campground was as advertised. Had great stargazing. Views towards the desert from our site were awesome.
Downsides -- drought restrictions include limitations on the use of propane stoves (not just campfires). This was more of a downside than expected. We definitely missed cooking camp food and having coffee in the morning

Mountain Campground sign and continue to follow signs into the campground.
Table Mountain Campground is accessible via State Route 2, approximately 10 miles to the south, which connects to the Angeles Crest Highway. US Highway 395 is about 20 miles to the east.
