Campground was great as an access point for Yosemite, it's approximately a ~45 min drive from the valley, shorter drive to Tioga road. Campground was spacious with generous sites. Sites are designated based on camping equipment (tent, RV/trailer). Some of the RV sites were not very level. Many of the tent sites were really nice, nestled in the trees away from the road. We stayed during the first come first serve period in early April. No problem finding a small RV site, even arriving in the afternoon on a Friday, and sites remained available through the weekend. Only complaint is that the only water spigots were at the 2 bathrooms. We were close to a bathroom so it wasn't a problem, but it would have been annoying if we were farther away from one.

This campground is about a 45 minute drive from Yosemite Valley, but we didn’t mind because it’s so beautiful just to drive through the park. It was a bit crowded, but that’s to be expected in Yosemite, and it was really not too bad when we stayed in April. Campsite #81 was near bathroom which was convenient, and wasn’t stinky. Would stay again!

We loved our stay at this campground. Site #18 was level and perfect for our 22 ft campervan. The only negative is the long drive to Yosemite village. Yosemite is now our favorite national park so it was still worth it.

Campsite was sliding down the hill. Water damage, not a flat spot to pitch a tent. Parking was full. Not what I was expecting for a walk in campsite.

Beautiful spot 40 minutes from the valley. Only negative is that the sites are a bit sloped.
