Spot 28 was very good. No hiking down to the campsite was needed. We had neighbors behind us. They had to go through our site to get to theirs. Also, the bathroom was a bit far, we needed to hike up hill. Also, the campground is about 25 miles to Yosemite valley. That’s why I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5

A classic campground - clean, well organized, and positioned great in the park to travel to various sites in a reasonable time. Major excursions included Young Lake, Yosemite Valley/Merced River, and Half Dome, all reasonably close to the camp site. Park Rangers were very helpful and overall just a wonderful camping experience. Would and absolutely will camp here again

Franchement super.

Good location to combine visting Yosemite and travelling to San Francisco the next day.
The toilets are only few and quite old.
There should be more strict rules for campfires or they should be banned a the dry summer season

The campsites are pretty packed in. You'll be right on top of your neighbor. We were in campsite 24 and found enough flat ground for a single tent but several around us were on slopes too steep for comfortable sleeping.

We stayed in the group campsite C. The 4 group sites are basically one next to the other. This is a bit tight compare to other group sites we had been to. Camp staff are very nice and friendly and work deligently to keep the site in order. However, the facility is limited. It would be nice to have some enhancements done to the facilities.
